Delete your Blockling account

Option 1: In the app (immediate)

1. Open Blockling and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab and tap Settings.
3. Tap Delete account & data.
4. Confirm. Your account is deleted right away and cannot be recovered.

Option 2: By email (no app needed)

1. Email quark@bluefoot.tech from the email address on your account.
2. Use the subject line Delete my Blockling account.
3. We may ask you to confirm the request so no one can delete an account that is not theirs.
4. We complete email requests within 30 days and reply when it is done.

Parents can request deletion of a child's account the same way, from the parent email on file.

What is deleted

• Your account, sign-in, and profile (display name, email, avatar, date of birth, and any parent email).
• Learning progress, completed lessons, mastery checks, review schedule, and where you left off.
• XP, Bits, hearts, streaks, league standings, achievements, and friends.
• Bookmarks, saved lesson drafts, and Playground projects.
• Linked wallet addresses and sign-in-with-Solana records.
• Certificate records, so their verification links stop working.
• Pro subscription status and your payment history.
• Classrooms you created and your classroom memberships.
• Parent consent and parental settings.
• Support messages you sent while signed in, question reports, notification tokens, and code-run limit records.

What is kept, and why

• Blockchain records. A certificate already minted as an NFT, and any payment you sent, are permanent public records on the Solana blockchain. No one, including us, can delete them.
• Redeemed payment IDs. We keep the transaction ID of each payment that was redeemed for Pro and its redemption time, so the same payment cannot be redeemed again. This record has no account ID. The public blockchain transaction still identifies the sending wallet.
• Messages sent while signed out. Contact form messages sent without signing in were never linked to an account. Email us to have them removed.
• Legal requirements. We keep information only where the law requires us to.

Before you delete

• Deletion is permanent. Progress, Bits, and certificates cannot be restored.
• If you have Pro, deleting your account ends it, including any time remaining.
• If you are a teacher, classrooms you created are deleted for every student in them. Students keep their own accounts and progress.
• Download any project files you want to keep first.
